Purely physics, the larger the surface area on a grinding wheel, the better the surface finish. A 9" diameter by 8-5/8" long wheel results in a much larger grinding surface than any other equipment used for this application. The system shown above is equipped with an automatic catheter feeder, a vacuum unloaded, a pressure washing system to clean the wheels automatically and template tracing wheel dressers. Recently introduced is the TF-9DHD offering all the advantages of the model described above with the addition of motion control on the regulating wheel slide operating in a closed loop with the installed glass linear scale and NEMA4 rated touch screen.
